Erin Inglish is always coming up with new collaborations -- last May 15 at Shell Cafe, she and Anna Cosper present vignettes from their original production called “The Good Folk Show”! This time, Erin is accompanied by bassist Dylan Johnson, Cuesta College music professor who performs regularly with Inga Swearingen.
Erin grew up on the Central Coast in a household of musicians (Mom played viola, and Dad is a professional accordion player with SLO's Cafe Musique). She picked up the banjo at the age of 17 when she moved to Berkeley to become an engineering student, and subsequently studied folk and bluegrass music with numerous great Bay Area musicians. She is also the organizer of the largest collaborative project in the world amongst female banjo players – the Banjo Babes 2014 Calendar & Showcase Album.
