BIG, BIG weekend here on the Central Coast!

Well, the BIG story this week is the first two concerts from Todd & Korie Newman's new production company, Good Medicine Presents.  These great folks have been delivering close to 3,000 concerts over the past decade at SLO Brew.  With recent news that the SLO Brew partnership is dissolving, Todd & Korie are forging onward to maintain a tradition of awesome shows here in SLO.  The Fremont will be the place to be on Saturday for Michael Franti and again on Monday for Ziggy Marley!   What a way to start things out!  Franti is sold out, but if you act quickly, you can still grab tix for Ziggy.

SLO Brew has a few great shows this weekend, starting with Mariachi el Bronx tonight (Thursday), then Texas Lights on Friday, and Mason Jennings on Sunday.

Wine lovers are in luck this weekend with 2 great festivals: the Garagiste Festival in Paso, where you'll find amazing small lot wines and Harvest on the Coast in Avila,  Both festivals are 3 days and have many components to them..

Art Garfunkel comes to the PAC on Sunday, so go check that one if you can, too.

So many more events, and I've got them listed for you on the upcoming events page:  Eddie Money at the Clark Center, Green to White at Creekside, Jill Knight at the Whole Foods grand opening, the big Winter Art Show at Forever Stoked, Ynana Rose's CD Release at the Steynberg Gallery...
