Scope of performance & compensation

Since we have asked for over double what we’ve ever earned as a band, it is crucial that we deliver a very good, super tight performance. The compensation is $1,000 per player and based on the successful execution of all the following:

We’ve agreed to give Brynn a total of $350 to compensate her for her contribution (and introducing us to the festival). Isaac will be compensated separately through Drew.

1) Main Stage performance: 90 minutes on Friday, 9/16 at 9:00pm

2) Workshop: 45 minutes at 9:45 Saturday morning. We all will participate in the workshop, and the content is at our discretion. Tim & Sean showed interest in leading it, but let’s figure out what we would like to present so I can submit it for the program marketing. There is no trap set, but a small powered stage in the workshop tent.

3) Rehearsals: Check!

4) Punctuality: It is of utmost importance to show up on time and to be where we’re supposed to be when we’re supposed to be there. I will have a timeline once I touch base with the stage manager.

Accomodations

At first, the notion of hotel rooms was presented, but now it’s off the table as they’ve exceeded their budget on us. Here’s what we are being offered:

• Camping

We are welcome to camp at the festival (it is a camping festival with late night jams, etc.)

• Food

We are welcome to enjoy the backstage hospitality. Dinner is served at 6:00 on Friday, there will be a continental breakfast on Saturday, and lunch Saturday.

• All other expenses are your responsibility.

Rehearsals:

We will need at least 2 rehearsals to get the set tight. The first one will go through the set and map out transitions and banter between songs. The second should be a straight run through the set - hopefully without any stops and with nice, smooth transitions. I’d like to stop the rehearsals at 10:00 out of respect for the neighbors, so a prompt 8:00 start will be important.

Agreement:

It’s Important that I know that each of you have read through all this, understand it, and agree to the terms. Please fill out this quick form to submit your agrement & any questions / comments you have:
