The jury is in and the verdict is clear: JUDGE MIKE & THE LAWLESS are doing time in concert – guilty of nothing but bringing back the kind of country that you grew up with, the kind of country your daddy used to listen to, and the kind of Americana/Country music that is booming again all across the land.
Judge Mike Cummins (Superior Court of California, retired) is busting out of his legal chains and making this motion: Join Judge Mike & The Lawless in celebration of their new CD release, Breaking Out.
The $27.50 general admission price will include a copy of the new CD. Doors open at 2:30 PM; the concert begins at 3 PM; CD signing and meet & greet to follow.
And Judge Mike’s life now is music. Johnny Cash’s. Merle Haggard’s. Willie Nelson’s. Songs by Hank Williams and Kris Kristofferson, plus a good dose of Mike’s own original brand of music. Fans who come to the Breaking Out celebration can look forward to songs like ‘Folsom Prison Blues,' ‘Amarillo by Morning,’ and ‘Me & Bobby McGee,’ just to name a few.
Lead vocalist and guitarist Judge Mike will share The Monday Club stage with his seven-member Lawless gang: Kenny Blackwell (guitar, mandolin); Wally Barnick (bass, vocals); Art Dougall (drums); Corine Manroe (guitar, bass, vocals); Alex Kizanis (keyboards); Bob Hamilton (pedal steel), and Julie Beaver (fiddle, vocals).
